The Maine Irish Heritage Center’s upper and lower levels are rented separately. The upper level sanctuary’s soaring arches, traditional wooden pews, stained glass windows and historic bell will enchant all visitors and will provide a lovely venue for your concert, lecture, wedding or other celebration or ceremony. Smaller rooms off the main sanctuary provide ample space for displays or preparation. Our lower level, which is handicapped accessible, can accommodate up to 300 people and is ideal for round tables of eight guests per table..
We will do everything possible to ensure that your selection of the MIHC makes your special event even more perfect.
The Upper Level (former sanctuary) has spectacular 60 foot cathedral ceilings, beautiful stained glass windows and is the perfect setting for:

Terms and conditions: Renters are expected to enter into the Maine Irish Heritage Center’s Rental Agreement, which will specify the times and conditions of the rental. Renters are welcome to select their own caterers, and must provide evidence of insurance and, if liquor is to be served, the appropriate liquor license. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted in the upper level sanctuary. Renters are required to observe all local ordinances, all applicable fire and safety codes, and no incendiary devices or displays are allowed in the building. Renters are expected to leave the premises tidy and any damage to the building will be the responsibility of the renter. Decorations may not be attached to walls, columns or other surfaces by any method that leaves marks, holes or indentations. Any loss of, or damage to, personal property is the responsibility of the renter. The MIHC’s kitchen may only be used to warm food prepared offsite; it may not be used for meal preparation.
