Stained Glass WindoPatricia McDonough Dunn, Chair
Pat practices law at Jensen, Baird, Gardner and Henry in the areas of employment, administrative, and municipal law. Previously, Pat served as Commissioner of Labor for the State of Maine, as Assistant Attorney General, and as a Trustee of the Maine State Retirement System. Pat’s grandparents and numerous other relatives emigrated from Connemara early in the 20th century and settled on Munjoy Hill, beginning Pat’s lifelong interest in Irish history and culture. When not working or devoting time to MIHC, Pat can be found walking on the beach near her home in Scarborough.

Mark Hutchins, Vice Chair
A native of Portland, Mark, along with his wife, Roberta and son, Michael own A.T. Hutchins Funeral and Cremation Services. Mark is the third member of the Hutchins Family to own a funeral home in Portland. He holds a degree in accounting from USM. During his time away from funeral service, Mark work in the finance and accounting field for the City of Portland, Fairchild, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Maine, the Sevigney Group, InterMed and Martin’s Point Healthcare.

Mark has always been committed to the community that he grew up in. In the past, he was involved with two little leagues as a coach and their President. He was a treasurer of the City of Portland’s Youth Sports Exchange. He served on the board for the Friends of Evergreen Cemetery, the United Way Finance Committee, the St. Pius X Parish Council and is a member of St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church’s Finance Committee.

Lois Galgay Reckitt, Secretary
Lois Galgay Reckitt is a graduate of Brandeis (A.B.) and Boston Universities(A.M.) and for thirty six years was the Executive Director Of Family Crisis Services in Cumberland County, Maine. This organization under her guidance has been a leader in Maine’s innovations in the area of domestic violence services and prevention – for youth, elders, incarcerated women, people with disabilities, New Americans and the LGBT community. She has received numerous awards from various community sectors, but most impactful has been her work over the years with the criminal justice system in Maine. During these years she has received awards from Maine’s Judicial Branch. State Bar Association and Maine Chiefs of Police. In addition she was inducted in 1997 into the Maine Women’s Hall of Fame and in 2013 to the Deborah Morton Society at UNE.

Jason R. Hanley, Treasurer
Jason has worked at WEX Inc. since 1997 and is currently the Vice President of Sales Operations. He is a Maine native who graduated from Bates College in 1993 and then received his MBA at the University of New Hampshire. Jason is involved in several non-profit organizations within the Portland community, and his father Ric’s enthusiasm for the Center and for all things Irish led him to join the Board this year. He currently lives in Falmouth with his wife, two children and two stepchildren.
